Install add-ons are not compatible in FireFox

Posted by: admin (May 10)
In this short post I will point out: Nightly Tester Tools . We commend those who have already activated your new born from Mozilla, namely Firefox 3 (still in beta at present). Has interesting features, but in particular I dwell on the possibility to make your beloved firefox compatible with all add-ons you want to install. It will surely be useful to all users of add-ons, also applies to Thunderbird and Camino as well as for earlier versions of Firefox itself.

AllPeers, p2p private FireFox

Posted by: admin (Feb 27)

AllPeers is a very useful Firefox addon that can create a sort of p2p network only with persons who have given permission to enter.

The exchange of files between users is via Bittorrent protocol that provides good speed. L 'installation is very simple and trivial, you must visit the official website and download the plugin integrates with Firefox, the next reboot we will be asked to activate an account with which we esssere identified within the large network.

AllPeers

The program appears on the left side of our browser and integrates a small toolbar to quickly access all the menus, look at all its options:

  • AllPeers Home

And 'the page from which we can test all aspects of AllPeers: see torrent download, or getting what we're sharing, create user groups. We can add our friends to our list manually by entering the e-mail address or the name of their account AllPeers or even import contacts from Gmail, Thunderbird, Yahoo or MSN Hotmail. They will receive an invitation to join your community of friends and, once accepted, will start sharing files with you ...

  • Share

From this panel we can decide which files to share and with whom: drag files on top of the board, then we write in the contacts that can participate to share and send them a small message for contact ...

  • Add a Contact

Clearer than that! Allows you to quickly add contacts to our list of friends to our group.

  • Transfers

Show, opening a new tab of firefox, all transfers in progress on AllPeers so that we keep an eye on all of our downloads.
